The Innovate Textile Awards celebrate groundbreaking advancements in the textile and apparel industry, recognising companies and individuals pushing the boundaries of innovation. How to Enter

1. Title of Entry*

1.1. Product or innovation name. 

 

2. Person of Contact*

2.1. Details include email and phone number. This will be the primary contact for the awards team. 

 

3. Executive Summary*

3.1. Articulate your innovation through the Executive Summary. Detail to the judging panel how the innovation is relevant to the category in no more than 250 words. 

3.2. Summaries above the advised word count will not be accepted.

3.3. This may be included on the website if it has been shortlisted and may be used in marketing collateral. 

4.    Entry URL

4.1.    A web address relating to the work, campaign or project entered. This will be judged alongside the other assets you have provided. Please only include a website or a digital experience that was produced with or for your product or innovation. 

 

5.    Social accounts

5.1.    LinkedIn for the entrant organisation. This is so your company can be tagged on social posts in the event of a nomination or an award.

 

6.    Entry Image*

6.1. This will be the key image asset that we will use to represent your entry in the event of a nomination or an award. It can be an image from your campaign, project or a company logo.
6.2. File size must be smaller than 5 MB.
6.3. The following file type(s) are allowed: Image File: jpg, jpeg, png, tif

o This will be included on the website if it has been shortlisted and may be used in marketing collateral.

 

7.    Entry Report*

7.1.    Your entry report is where you can tell the whole story. Aim for no longer than 1250 words and refer to the category description within your report. This will be for judge’s eyes only and you can publish confidential information or facts and figures here to support your entry.
7.2.    The following file type(s) are allowed:

7.2.1.    Text File: pdf, doc, ppt, docx, pptx, txt

7.3.    Entry reports above the advised word count may not be accepted.

 

8.    Supporting File(s)

8.1.    If you have additional creative collateral or infographics you can combine them into one file for the judges' consideration. This is optional and only if needed to supplement your entry. 
8.2.    You may submit up to five supporting files.
8.3.    File size must be smaller than 10 MB.
8.4.    The file size must be submitted via WeTransfer
8.5.    The following file type(s) are allowed:

8.5.1.    Image File: jpg, jpeg, png, tif, gif

o Document File: pdf, doc, ppt, docx

 

9.    Supporting video(s)

9.1.    URLs or video files which summarise the key points of your entry. 
9.2.    Supporting videos, if shortlisted, may be used in marketing collateral. 
9.3.    You may submit up to three supporting videos.
9.4.    File size must be supplied via WeTransfer
9.5.    The following file type(s) are allowed:

o Multimedia File: avi, mov, mp4

Terms and Conditions

1.   Eligibility 

a)   Open to companies operating globally in the textile & apparel industry. 

b)   Projects must have been completed from January 2024 onwards.  

 

2.   Entry Requirements 

a)  Complete your entry via email to innovateawards@wtin.com 

b)   Submit a executive summary (max 250 words), entry report and supporting materials (up to 5 attachments). 

c)   By submitting an entry, participants agree to these terms and conditions. 

d)   You may submit the same entry in more than one category, but each entry must be submitted separately. Please contact our awards team (innovateawards@wtin.com) for pricing queries.  

e)   Entries may be edited up until the point of ‘submission’. 

f)   We do not require any physical supporting material to be submitted as part of an entry. Supporting material must be supplied in digital format only. 

 

3.   Submission Process 

a)   Entries must be submitted and paid via the official awards email by 11:59 PM BST on 1 October 2025. 

b)   Entry fee: £295, payable via Invoice; (VAT is/may be applicable to UK customers).

c)   Where websites form part of an entry, please ensure any URLs, access details, usernames and passwords needed for judging are supplied, that they work, and that they will continue to work throughout October & November 2025. Sites that cannot be viewed will be eliminated from the judging. 

d)   When entries are submitted on behalf of clients by agencies or other parties, client sign off is assumed. If any issues arise concerning client sign off once the entry has been submitted, no refund will be given. 

e)   Please ensure that the information submitted is accurate and the correct companies are credited as appropriate. We accept no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted information. 

f)   Entries must be made using the online entry template. Entries will not be accepted by any other means. 

g)   Any entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until 11:59 PM BST on 30 September 2025 upon written request to the organisers. However, the entry fee is non-refundable. 

 

4.   Confidentiality 

a)   All submissions will be kept confidential, where specified, and used solely for judging purposes. 

 

5.   Judging Process 

a)   Entries will be judged on innovation, impact and scalability by a panel of industry experts. 

b)   The judges’ decisions are final, no correspondence will be entered into regarding them. 

 

6.   Intellectual Property 

a)   Entrants retain ownership of their materials. 

b)   WTiN (World Textile Information Network) / Innovate Awards may use the content of your entry submission for editorial coverage, business or marketing purposes as an example of best practice. We will never ever use anything marked as ‘Confidential Information’ as we fully respect your commercial confidence.  

 

7.   Disqualification 

a)   Late entries, incomplete entries, and plagiarised content will be disqualified.  These will be non-refundable. 

 

8.   Announcement of Winners 

a)   Winners will be notified by email and announced at the awards ceremony on 5 December 2025.

 

9.   Legal Compliance 

a)   All entries must comply with relevant local, national and international laws. 

 

10.   Acceptance of Terms 

a)   By submitting an entry, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
